My name is RT Honourable Paul Emeziem. I am from Umuna ancient kingdom of ONuimo LGA. I was born 12th June 1962 to my dear parents, the Emeziems.

I am married to my beautiful wife Mrs Chinyere Emeziem and we are blessed with four lovely Children.

Paul Emeziem is moderately educated and is going through a post Degree program on INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMACY at Imo state university Owerri. I joined business of buying and sellings on health and allied products. I joined politics in 1997 and was elected the executive Chairman of ONuimo local government area same year. I also became the transition committee chairman of ONuimo LGA in 2008. I have been the Imo state Chairman of two prominent registered political parties, the United Nigeria people’s party (UNPP)2001 to 2003. And Advanced people’s democratic alliance (APDA) 2018. I contested and won to become the member representing Onuimo state constituency in the 9th House of Imo state House of Assembly through the All progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2019 and was inaugurated on June 13th 2019. Subsequently, I became the Speaker of Imo state House of Assembly on the 13th day of November 2020.

I have numerous awards and honours which include the ENYIOHA 1 OF UMUNA .
