Brief Biography of Dr. Barr Ikenna Ihezuo

Dr. Barr. Ikenna Martins Ihezuo was born to the family of Chief and Lolo John Ihezuo from Eziachi in Orlu LGA. He attended Government secondary school, Owerri, Federal school of Arts and science, Ondo, University of Lagos, Nigeria before proceeding to the United States. While in the United States, He obtained a Masters Degree in Law from John F Kennedy School of Law in Walnut Creek, California, and a Jurist Doctorate Degree from the University of Northern California. 

He returned to Nigeria and was enrolled in the Nigeria Law School in 2009 and was thereafter called to the Nigeria Bar. 

He is the Principal Partner of I.I Martins & Associates, a firm of Legal Practitioners with offices in Abuja and Owerri.

Dr. Ihezuo was the former candidate of Action Alliance (AA) for the Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal House of Representatives in the 2019 general Election.

Since the conclusion of the 2019 election, Dr Ihezuo had become a strong and fanatic member of the All Progressive Congress, and believer in the 3R agenda of his Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma. He had contributed immensely to the development of Orlu LGA, and was a great mobilizer for the party during the party’s registration and revalidation exercise.

Dr. Ihezuo is a strong member of the Nigeria Bar Association, Orlu branch.

He was also the member representing the South East Geopolitical zone in the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency. (NGSA)

He is happily married and the union is blessed with children.
