Inauguration of Imo 10th House of Assembly
During the Special Sitting of Friday, 16th June, 2023, the 10th House of Imo State House of Assembly was inaugurated and the following officers were elected:
- Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe (Speaker)
- Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu (Deputy Speaker)
Presently, the 10th House of Imo State House of Assembly has the following principal officers:
- (A) Speaker - Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe (Ihitte-Uboma)
- (B) Dep. Speaker - Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu (Nwangele)
- (C) House Leader - Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi (Owerri West)
- (D) Chief Whip - Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri (Oru East)
- (E) Dept Leader - Hon. Samuel Osuji (Isiala-Mbano)
- (F) Dep. Whip - Hon. Kelechi of Ofurum (Owerri North)
Inauguration of Imo 9th House of Assembly
During the Special Sitting of Thursday, 13th June, 2019, the 9th House of Imo State House of Assembly was inaugurated and the following officers were elected:
- Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins (Speaker)
- Rt. Hon. Barr. Okey Onyekanma (Deputy Speaker)
The present 9th House of Imo State House of Assembly has the following principal officers:
